There we go, first article in English! And how to better celebrate this than with a local fresh beer?

Dear beer lovers, this article is for you. You will find what are for me the best breweries in Boston. I love those places not only for the beers but for the atmosphere and community they create.

And for those who are more wine and cockails, it is coming up (lvailable soon)

note: You must be 21yo to read this. Please drink responsively. Excessive consumption of alcool is harmful to people health.

Best breweries in Boston

To be tested soon : Lamplighter, Harpoon

The Aeronaut - best community and outdoor

This place is my favorite by far, the place is huge, beers are always really tasty and to be honest, this is more than just a brewery. All the people you will meet there are kind and smiling, they are hosting events pretty often: Trivia nights, small concerts, drag shows, pumkin carving and even pitch-a-friend night!

All over the year and whatever the season, you will enjoy your time at the Aeronaut (and not only because they launch new beer very often)

One more thing I had to mention: the design of their can and signs is so creative and colourful, love it.

Inside the building you will find a restaurant I like a lot, Carolicious. They serve amazing venezualian food - I am having it everytime that I come and never get bored. (be careful with the spicy sauce!)

There is also a chocolate factory in the building (isn't so cool?)

Portico Brewing - best light exposition

Recently discovered and quickly adopted. First, beers are really good and this is what we want when talking about a brewery, right?

Then, even if it can look a bit isolated while looking on the map, the fact that it is in the middle of glass buidlings adds a vibe that I like a lot. It has a light exposition which is perfect for an after work beer (bring sunglasses).

They have a patio/terrass which is very nice.

Never tried but you can play videogames on 'vintage' console - this nostalgic mood works on me - love this.

Samuel Adams - the empire

Writing about beers in Boston, I had to mention Samuel Adams. Particularly the (huge) bar they have downtown, closed to Quincy Market. Beers are always fresh and good, it is a loud American bar, exactly what you can imagine from this kind of place: men with moustaches and Red Sox hats, sports on tv, french fries and pretzels on the menu.

I would recommend to go there with friends (not for a date, guys, please!).

Remnant Brewery - beers, coffee and kombucha

An other cute brewery in Cambridge/Somerville. It is in the middle of an outside food court, Bow Market, in Union Square.

I got more coffee there than beer (iykyk), but the place is really nice, all drinks are tasty and I love the terrasses (in front and at the back). Note that Trivia Nights can be loud (but love the vibe ;) ).

note to non-American : bring your ID e-v-e-r-y-t-i-m-e

That's it (for now) for my recommandations, hopefully you will enjoy not only the beers but also the vibe of those places, like I do.
